François was a police officer for 29 years. During these years, he worked for 21 years in the investigation office. This work allowed him to do specialized studies in arson, interrogation, fraud and non-suggestive interviewing.

Since retiring from the Sûreté du Québec in 2012, François has worked as an insurance investigator in the special investigation unit headed by René Paillé.

Not being a claims adjuster, François always works as an assistance on claims files. He knows very well the legal limits attached to his function and has been able to adapt his investigation methods to his new clients.
